M. S. Patel Institute of Management Studies, popularly known as FMS-Baroda, was established in July 1984 to make a distinct contribution to advanced management education and research in the city of Vadodara. It's run by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU). The courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Its motto is "Those Who Build Beneath The Stars Build Too Low".
